WENDY: ongoing in-depth investigation of “lighthouse” wind farms

An ongoing comprehensive mapping and analysis of best-case examples of wind energy farms across the EU is led by Q-Plan and implemented in cooperation with other WENDY partners.

Our aim is to extract insights and lessons learned related to the social, environmental, and economic parameters and practices that can increase community acceptance.

WENDY (a 36-month R&I project of Horizon Europe) started in October 2022 and aims at developing a structured approach triggering social acceptance of wind farms.

Q-PLAN serves as the project’s Exploitation Manager and will develop the WENDY’s Knowledge Exchange Platform.

By being also partner of MarineWind project which concerns offshore wind energy, we endeavour to increase wind energy awareness, knowledge, and capacity in Greece.
