SKILLBILL Unveils Four Working Groups Driving Renewable Energy Transformation.

Q-PLAN International is proud to announce the successful completion of the second round of our specialised working groups of SKILLBILL. The four groups—Sustainable Electricity, Mobility, Fuel, and Heat—have been working to identify and propose regulatory shifts that foster a favourable environment for the diffusion of sustainable renewable energy and fuel technologies.

In this round, the working groups focused on “Directions for regulatory shifts that help share a favourable environment for sustainable renewable energy and fuels tech diffusion.” Through comprehensive discussions and collaborative efforts, the working groups have elaborated 44 recommendations. These recommendations aim to address the current regulatory landscape and provide actionable steps toward promoting the adoption of clean energy technologies.

The Electricity group concentrated on regulatory frameworks that can enhance the skill gab within the renewable energy sector. The Mobility group proposed measures to accelerate the transition to electric vehicles and sustainable transport solutions. The Fuel group focused on policies to support the development and use of biofuels and other sustainable fuel alternatives. Lastly, the Heat group suggested strategies to improve energy efficiency and the use of renewable heat sources.
