FIERCE’s 1st Call for Financial Support is now open

FIERCE project has launched its 1st Open Call for the Financial Support Program, inviting innovative SMEs to develop, integrate or scale space-enabled solutions with a clear environmental and sustainability impact.

The program supports SMEs in using downstream space data and technologies to address challenges related to environmental monitoring, resource efficiency, circular economy and sustainability-oriented business practices.

Through this Open Call, 35 SMEs will be selected to implement Transformation Projects, receiving up to €50,000 per SME in the form of lump-sum vouchers. The funding supports the contracting of External Service Providers and the implementation of innovative activities across different stages of development, from early validation to scaling-up and market-ready solutions.

All funded activities must make use of downstream space data and demonstrate a positive environmental impact.

Who can apply?

• SMEs established in EU Member States and Horizon Europe Associated Countries that seek to improve their products, services, or internal processes through the use of Earth Observation and other downstream space technologies.

🕒 Cut-off dates:

• First cut-off: 28 February 2026
• Final cut-off: 31 March 2026
