Website Content and Management Training – EU Ecolabel

As part of the Implementation of the Strategic Multi-Annual EU Ecolabel Communication Work Plan 2024–2027, Q-PLAN successfully delivered a dynamic capacity-building session focused on Website Content and Management on October 15, 2025.

The Q-PLAN team included Alexandra Gkouma, Kiki Argyropoulou, and Nikolay Premyanov, with Alexandra and Kiki leading the session as speakers. The training brought together 11 participants representing EU Member State Competent Bodies (CBs), the national authorities responsible for promoting the EU Ecolabel within their countries.

The training covered the following sections:

• Defining a clear website strategy
• Enhancing website layout and design
• Developing effective content strategy
• Using website data and analytics
• Boosting visibility through search engines
• Hands-on exercises with examples of good EU Ecolabel websites

Participants actively engaged in discussions and collaborative exercises, sharing their own experiences and ideas. The interactive session encouraged knowledge exchange and helped participants gain valuable insights and practical skills to make their EU Ecolabel websites more effective and user-friendly.

Q-PLAN looks forward to seeing these efforts reflected in improved EU Ecolabel websites across Europe, helping more people discover, understand, and trust the EU Ecolabel as a mark of environmental excellence.
